Maasai Mara - 4 Days/3 Nights
Day 1 Depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara, descending the Escarpment and driving along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We take a lunch stop at the Maasai town of Narok and purchase any last-minute supplies. The road into the Mara can be a little rough at times but there is always the possibility of spotting game as we approach the Reserve. We arrive near the Reserve around mid-afternoon and stop at a designated campsite for our overnight stay. For those who wish to stretch the legs after the drive from Nairobi, a short walk (1-2 hours) in the surrounding area can be arranged. |
